Created with Grace Yi-Li Tong, Whining, Changing Flesh is a delightfully witty dance between two friends. Like a real-life collage, clothing, fans, stools, and body parts are taken apart only to be pieced back together in various pairings. The sound score, a cumulation of mismatched sound effects, mirrors the segmented limbs of our bodies. With the silly movement and outlandish set design, we question the portrayal of women in performance spaces.
