Kaja! (Let’s go!)

Kaja! represents the multigenerational nature of storytelling – how we pass our memories along to each other, and how we take control of our futures by telling our pasts. Inspired by myths Green Frogs told by my grandmother to my mother to me, the Korean gopuri ritual of absolving han, and the importance of rice, Kaja! is a dance-theater piece that blends tradition with modern, humor with grief.
